Tutorial: Recover Your Lost Data from Samsung
Step 1. Connect your Samsung to a PC and enable USB debugging
Connect your phone where you've lost photos, videos or music to the computer after running the program. Then, you need to enable USB debugging after the program detecting your phone. There are three options for you to choose:
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
If your phone's USB debugging has been enabled before, just skip this step, and move to the next.
Step 2. Analyze and scan your Samsung device for lost data
In this step, please make sure that the battery of your phone is more than 20%. After that, click “Start” on the screen to analyze and scan your phone.
While the program is scanning, you can’t just wait and do nothing. Here you need to pay attention to your phone. Please click “Allow” if requested. Then click “Start” to continue the scanning.
Step 3. Preview & recover SMS, contacts, photos and videos from Samsung devices
After the scan, you can preview data found on your Samsung mobile phone first, like messages, contacts and photos. As for videos, you can watch them on your computer after the recovery. Choose those you want in the scan result and click "Recover". You can get back whatever you want.
